Child Account Safety

Our commitment to safe, inclusive outdoor exploration continues with enhanced child account capabilities. Fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, our new system ensures that users under 13 obtain parental consent to create an account. Built-in privacy controls keep challenge activities confidential, giving parents peace of mind.

Granular Notification Management

Take control with our granular notification system. Now you can subscribe to and manage email and push notifications with precision. Whether you're interested in specific organizations, areas, trails, points of interest, or outings, you'll stay informed about alerts, check-ins, posts, reviews, and reports exactly how you want.

QR Code Challenge Tasks

Introduce interactive exploration with our new QR code challenge task type! Visitors can now complete challenges by scanning QR codes at specific locations, creating dynamic, on-site experiences. We're gradually rolling out this feature to organization accounts — contact our Customer Success team to learn how you can activate these engaging challenges!

Enhanced Location Pages

Area, trail, point of interest, and outing pages now surface all available information—including "Additional Information" and "Documents" — with an "Explore the Map" button for quick navigation.
