In this article, we'll dive into the benefits of using OuterSpatial campaigns and how they can help you track your marketing efforts like never before.

Campaigns are created in OuterSpatial Manager, and each campaign comes with a unique deep link and QR code that can be used to promote your content on your website, on social media, on park signage, and in newsletters. Deep links are unique URLs that, when followed, take your visitors directly to a specific piece of content in OuterSpatial — making it easy for them to find exactly what they're looking for. QR codes provide a “shortcut” visitors can use to access a campaign’s deep link via their device’s camera.

What sets OuterSpatial campaigns apart, however, is the analytics that are tied to each campaign. By creating campaigns in Manager, you'll be able to track how many visitors interact with your deep links and QR codes. This means that, when used in conjunction with OuterSpatial’s visitor analytics, you'll be able to see how many people are accessing your content, how your efforts are driving increased engagement, and much more. You can use this information to fine-tune your marketing efforts, ensuring you reach the right people.

You can create as many campaigns as you need in OuterSpatial Manager — each with its own unique name, medium, and source. Creating multiple campaigns for the same piece of content can provide enhanced analytics, helping you to understand the impact of different marketing efforts and channels. For example, you could create three campaigns that all link to your organization in OuterSpatial: one for a QR code on your website, another for a link in your email newsletter, and a third for a QR code to be placed on trailheads and park kiosks. This allows you to track the traction of each individual source and gain insights into what is driving traffic to your organization in OuterSpatial.

Success Story

Here is a real-life success story from our friends over at the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests. They leverage OuterSpatial to provide their visitors with access to over 200 forest preserves and a variety of annual events like their Five Hikes Challenge. They recently used OuterSpatial campaigns to create multiple QR codes and deep links to post on their site and throughout their park preserves. These campaigns helped them double their number of app users in under six months!

Using campaign analytics, they learned that a majority of their downloads came from the physical QR codes they places on signage in their preserves. Understanding this, they directed more resources towards signage, which, in turn, helped them increase the number of mobile app users while also improving the allocation of their marketing resources.

If you're looking to take your marketing efforts to the next level, creating campaigns in OuterSpatial Manager is a must for your organization!
