OuterSpatial, an award-winning platform for parks and recreation organizations that provides visitors with a mobile application and website within minutes, without writing any code, has announced its partnership with American Trails and its participation at this year's International Trails Summit the week of April 17, 2023, in Reno, NV.
To give attendees a glimpse into what the partnership will entail, the two respected outdoor organizations will present "Revolutionizing Outdoor Engagement," which explores key features of the OuterSpatial platform that American Trails will provide its members — from dynamic updates to visitor surveys, trail challenges, digital passports, and self-guided tours.
Session attendees will get real-world examples of how the platform is making a difference for outdoor recreation organizations around the country, including current OuterSpatial partners Five Rivers MetroParks, who is currently running a successful trails challenge, California State Parks, who just launched a new digital passport program, and Nevada State Parks, who recently announced they're adopting OuterSpatial as their official statewide app.
"We are thrilled with our recent partnership and to present with American Trails at this year's International Trails Summit (ITS)," said Ryan Branciforte, CEO of OuterSpatial. "Their commitment to empowering trail organizations and supporting and encouraging respectful, equitable access to outdoor environments for everyone aligns with our own values. We are excited about this new partnership and look forward to presenting, meeting new people, learning from each other, getting inspired, and helping American Trails offer new and innovative tools to its members."
The Summit is the largest gathering of all trail interests — professionals, managers, and users who believe their combined voices are the best way to strengthen trails for everyone.
The Summit will include more than 140 educational sessions covering a broad range of issues, including nationally and internationally prominent presenters, informative and interactive workshops, a state-of-the-art Exhibit Hall, and a wide array of national training leaders.
"OuterSpatial's long-standing focus on the needs of park and trail organizations around the country aligns perfectly with our goals," said Mike Passo, executive director of American Trails. "Their experience and expertise in providing new ways to explore the outdoors for people with every ability is impressive to us as an organization, and we couldn't be more thrilled about our new partnership. Our session will not only explore how our new partnership is the perfect fit, but we will also show parks and trail organizations how they can deepen their relationships with users."
